Baby Blooms

Improvised Forged Steel Sculpture

The inception of the initial Baby Bloom sculptures stemmed from a specific request by a Chicago executive, an existing client engaged in office remodeling. Having recently adorned her office walls with fresh paint and invested in a set of modern wooden, steel, and glass furniture, she conveyed her vision for a contemporary steel sculpture atop her table-height filing cabinets, harmonizing with the revamped decor. While she admired the vibrant, powder-coated free-standing Blooms displayed in our gallery, standing at 5 and 6 feet tall, they proved too lofty for her cabinets. Expressing interest in a smaller version, she proposed a height ranging from 30 to 36 inches.

Responding to her request, our skilled blacksmiths crafted a variety of diminutive Blooms, incorporating the signature rose, meander, and balloon forged elements. I promptly forwarded images of these creations to her, and she enthusiastically selected a red one. Within our studio, we affectionately dubbed these new sculptures "Baby Blooms," offering them in a diverse array of colors and combinations on the same base.

U-hooks are included and can be used to install sculptures directly
into the ground using a rubber mallet.

These sculptures are now available for purchase through our website.
